Feel the energy surge through you after reading the “quotes”-

The world’s far from perfect but who’s fault is it? To help raise my spirits along with yours, here are some motivational quotes so that we no longer let the people treat us(women) or anyone else(LGBTQ people) as if we don’t matter. They can do what they have to and we will do what we must which is to course correct the way people treat us.

So, here are the quotes-

“I’ve interviewed and portrayed people who’ve withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights.” – Oprah Winfrey

“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.” – Coco Chanel

“If you want to run for Prime Minister, you can. If you don’t, that’s wonderful, too. Shave your armpits, don’t shave them, wear flats one day, heels the next. These things are so irrelevant and surface to what it is all really about, and I wish people wouldn’t get caught up in that. We want to empower women to do exactly what they want, to be true to themselves, to have the opportunities to develop. Women should feel free.” – Emma Watson

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain!” – Dolly Parton

“In life, there is no real safety except for self-belief.” – Madonna

“Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy. That’s my life motto.” – Demi Lovato

“Women have to harness their power—it’s absolutely true. It’s just learning not to take the first no. And if you can’t go straight ahead, you go around the corner.” – Cher

“I’m learning how to drown out the constant noise that is such an inseparable part of my life. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone. I only have to follow my heart and concentrate on what I want to say to the world. I run my world.” – Beyoncé

“There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer.” – Rihanna

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

#We decide who we are and how we should be treated. The power to demand respect is in our own hands. All we need to do is- speak up and fight back. Advice- never settle, always try to reach for the stars.

Positive thoughts shine all over our personality

Have you ever realized that when a charming person crosses you in the opposite direction, whether in a corridor or on the zebra crossing, they beam of positivity so strong that makes everyone in their surrounding happier? It’s true. It really happens sometimes.

Some things that help raise my spirits. Hope, they do the same for you too. Give it(/them) a try.

Start your mornings by reminding yourself of the power of positive thoughts. Look into the mirror and say out loud “I am beautiful, intelligent, kind, generous and forgiving“.

Try to get up early in the mornings to catch the early rising sunshine and let it seep in. Exercise a little. Do have breakfast, it does raise your spirits, you know. Try to compliment someone whenever you can, in the context of “nice hairs”, “nice shoes”, “nice dress”, “nice bag”, or anything really. It will always make the other person smile and you will feel happier too.

Remember a smile is contagious. If you smile at someone, they will automatically smile back. (In case they don’t, then you know that either they are really grumpy or paranoid.)

You might have heard of the saying- “if you are laughing, the world laughs with you, but if you are crying, you cry alone”. So, stay happy always, and make people laugh(if that’s something you can do). Because when you are happy, your aura starts diverging positivity, making everything and everyone in its path brighter and happier. And when everyone is happy, things go smoother and our troubles get sorted out without causing any panic.

Lastly, leave all of the anger, anxiety, negative thoughts from yesterday in yesterday, just try not to think about it and move on with the new energy towards today, completely invested in the present. And I am sure that you will have a great day. Happy morning to you:)

Who is our God? The Lord, the Divine?

To some people, God is Allah, or Bhagwan, Shiv, or Christ, or Budha, the list goes on. To me, it is “The Nature”. It is all around us. Yet, has no particular shape or size. God is in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the land we walk on, the sand, the sky, the rain, the storm, the wheat, the fruits, the animals, the trees, the flowers, the rivers, the glaciers, the mountains. Everything and everyone has God inside them and around them.

People step out of their houses in the search of God. But they forget that the first place where you can find God is home. God is in your parents, your kids, in your own hearts. God is in no sculpture or statue. God is neither a he nor a she. God is the good which stands guard against the bad. Same as the light against the dark. In other words, what is good and right and brings our hearts joy and light is God. It can just be food that we eat every day. Or it can just be the company of the people around us that make us laugh and happy.

A person who truly wants to feel the presence of God has to just open up their eyes and look around. God is the faith, we have in humanity. God is the kind act that a person performs when they help out someone in need, or feed someone who is starving, or provide water to someone who is thirsty. God is in the generous act of the people who have plenty and so can spare to help others. God is in the sunlight (that is one of the main sources of life on Earth), so let it sink in and feel the warmth. God is the helpful hand that reaches out to us when we need it the most, be it our family, or friends, or some kind stranger.

So, step out of the comfort of your house and find a person and help them. For instance- one can very easily find people who are working on the roadside. Just go to one of the stalls and buy the fruits or vegetables that they are selling, instead of the fruits and vegetables being sold at your usual AC place. Now, observe the happiness in the vendor’s eyes for having earned some more bucks for the day. This is one of the acts that a person can perform in order to be actually closer to God. Bringing the feeling of blissful happiness to anyone, be it your friends, your kids, your neighbors, your boss/employee, or to any person really is one step towards the divine, the God, the almighty.

Elevate yourself and the world will follow

“Today is the day I am going to try to be a better person than I was yesterday.” Make this your daily morning mantra. Right after- “I am a beautiful, independent and strong woman.”

To the women all around the world who are fighting for equal respect and status in the society, a little advice- start with yourself. Because the only person we can actually control/change is us, ourselves. So, start small. Such as-

Be you and believe in yourself

Be financially self-dependent

Be open, straightforward but less brutal

Stand your ground with logic/facts

Be practical but kind and generous

Be passionate and dedicated towards your career

Learn how to calm yourself down

Stop meddling in other people’s businesses

Remember what goes around, comes around

Respect is earned with perseverance and not gifted

Lastly, I would like to say- check out the “quotes” page for motivation. Just kidding. Stay positive in life because when you are beaming with positivity, everything and everyone around you catches the spark and lightens up. Besides, things that come easy are taken for granted. So, work hard and demand respect because this is something worth fighting for. And remember, never give in or give up and always keep moving forward.

#Just a teeny, tiny advice- leave all the malice behind and never look back.

Happy Teacher’s Day

Teachers-Day-1-620x400

Greetings to you all!!!

Today, we thank all our parents, teachers and everyone we know, for teaching us different lessons in our lives. From as small an advice to big ones, such as to thank the friend who offered us a sweet/ice-cream or to stay positive and ambitious throughout our lives or to be sympathetic towards the less fortunate or to be kind, generous and forgiving, and countless others.

“Teachers, I believe, are the most responsible and important members of society because their professional efforts affect the fate of the earth.” ― Helen Caldicott, an Australian physician, author, and anti-nuclear advocate.

Very well said. Hope, everyone gets great teachers in their lives, who guide them towards the light that leads them to their right course.

Today, we celebrate our teachers with the utmost respect because they are partially responsible for our children growing up into loving, rational human beings. Hope, the teachers, teaching at schools and colleges, already know about their responsibilities towards the youth of this nation and keep doing a better job every day. A salute to all those who are changing the lives of others for better. Thank you:)
